At midnight tonight (20th April 2015) voter registration will close and those who have not registered will have no say in who runs their country for the next five years.
The Electoral Commission has suggested there are as many as 7.5 million people in the UK who have not registered to vote (as reported by the BBC today).
So whether or not you have decided who to vote for – or whether to even vote at all – by tomorrow, that decision will have been taken out of your hands and it will be another five years before you have the opportunity again.
Please register online today and you will still have two and a half weeks to May 7th, to mull over the offerings of the parties and make your mind up at a more leisurely pace.
To register to vote in 3 minutes, visit here today (you’ll need your National Insurance number if you have one). Happy voting!
